The Province of Santa, is one of the coastal provinces of the Department of Ancash, its capital is Chimbote, in this section we mentioned it because it is a datum point very important to arrive at the town of Corongo, because starting off from Lima, the Pan-American North is taken to arriving at this city, for soon in the town of Santa taking towards the west and arriving at Chuquicara.

Chimbote is a Peruvian port in which one can delight with his gastronomia, the Ceviche that prepares aqui; without being inferior the one of other ports, he is one of the best ones of Peru.
