EL DEPARTAMENTO DE AYACUCHO
The department of Ayacucho is located in the $andes of the center and the south of Peru, having some sectors in the eyebrow of located forest and high forest to the northeast of its territory.
ACCESS ROUTES
The recommended route but is the one of File-Pisco-Ayacucho (they are 573 km), via the highway the Liberators, with a duration of 9 hrs. approximately in car.

BRIEF HISTORICAL REVIEW
The presence of human groups in Ayacucho has been beginning approximately for 20.000 years before Christ in the cave of Pikimachay. WARI
This is a city pre-Inca, it is approximately to 22 km to the nor this of the city of Ayacucho and to 45 minutes in bus. PIKIMACHAY

TOWN OF QUINUA AND PAMPAS OF AYACUCHO

VILCASHUAMAN

GASTRONOMY
The ayacuchanos typical plates are:
Qapchi or Hapchi: Sandy salad with for tender, with Cachipa or fresh cheese, yellow red pepper, oil and perforated onion.
Broth of Mondongo: Soup of visceras with maize, mint and menudencias.
The Patachi: Soup of wheat with menestras, bacon and meat.
Sharp Puca: Chicharron in peanut sauce.
Uman Broth or Broth of Head: Broth of head of sheep with mint and red pepper.
Guinea pig Chactado: Guinea pig fried in frying pan underneath a flat and heavy stone.
Pachamanca: diverse meats, Popes and choclos (tender maize) spanish stews under earth between hot stones with aromatic grass, to the Hispanic style pre.
Tecte: Stew of habas, yuyos or seaweed, peas, red pepper, garlic, fresh cheese, milk and eggs.
The Pushla: Soup of ground barley, grass, eggs and milk.
I marinate Ayacuchano: Stew of meat marinated with red pepper and spices.
The traditional drinks are: Chicha of jora, chicha of molle, chicha of seven seeds.
