BATHS OF IRON, VIRGIN Of the CARMEN Or FERRUGINOUS WATERS OF CABRACANCHA - BAÑOS DE FIERRO, VIRGEN DEL CARMEN O AGUAS FERRUGINOSAS DE CABRACANCHA
Before arriving at Churin, to three Kilometers, the other band of the Oyón river, in the denominated place "Cabracancha" of the district of Andajes, are the famous "Iron Baths", also called "Virgin of the Carmen", in a rocky hill where the sulfurosa and ferrous water shoot in good amount to the temperature of 55 degrees Celsius, crossing a channel opened until arriving at the premises of the baths, where it lowers to 45 and 40 degrees Celsius.

Las características físico-químicas de estas aguas son: ferruginosas, sulfatadas y bicarbonatadas con olor a moho de fierro, siendo untuosas y de sabor desagradable. El local cuenta con cuartos individuales y sus respectivas pozas termales, todo lo que ha sido modernizado para dar comodidad a los bañistas.
Por su alta temperatura y composición química, estas aguas ferruginosas están indicadas para el reumatismo articular.
Para hacer uso de la instalaciones de estos baños es recomendable seguir las instrucciones, como por ejemplo; las personas que sufren de la presion, es recomendable hacersela medir antes de hacer uso de los servicios, pues de acuerdo a esta te enviaran al baño adecuado para tu organismo. El tiempo maximo recomendable para permanecer sumergido hasta el cuello, es de 0 a 8 minutos, luego del cual debes salir envuelto en una frazada a un area en el cual te enfriaras.
El servicio de medida de presion se ofrecen dentro de las intalaciones del baño y su costo es una colaboracion.
