RELIGIOUS FESTIVIDADES OF THE TOWN OF ANDAMARCA SANTA CRUZ
The procession of the Gentleman of the Miracles, Christ de Pachacamilla or Brown Christ, every year crosses the streets Santa Crucinas in the month of October from 1954, bringing with himself blessings of union, hope, catholic fervor and tradition. In the month of October the image of the crucificado Christ moves to hundreds of faithfuls in procession. Fervent the devotee dresses of dwelled trying to emulate to the sisters Santa Crucinas(os), taking you hold like symbol of adhesion and devotion to the Gentleman. In this procession it accompanies the Painful Virgin.
The GENTLEMAN OF The MIRACLES And The PAINFUL VIRGIN IN THE TOWN OF ANDAMARCA SANTA CRUZ Photo: www.santacruzdeandamarca.com The 15 of August of year 1.954, Mr. Mauro Brown Figueroa and Mrs. Olimpia Montes de Figueroa (Q.E.P.D), take the sagrada image of the Gentleman of the Miracles, and they donate the community of Santa Cruz de Andamarca. This sagrada image is the one that venerates at the moment in our dear Santa Cruz de Andamarca. That same year the first festividad is celebrated. The first butlers of year 1.954, Were:
Mr. Juan Avendaño Blas and Mrs. Maria Espirita Apolinario. From year 1.955, with great religious fervor and catholic faith, the sagrada image of the DWELLED CHRIST venerates, and in its honor the traditional festividad is made, with the participation of the Butlers like hosts and the valuable collaboration of the devotee ones. Brotherhood of the Gentleman of the Miracles of Santa Cruz de Andamarca It was established, in year 1.991, by a group of young people and devotee of Mr. of the Miracles, they were created with aims similar to those of catholic action. 1ra Group formed by devotee SantaCrucinos children and of Mr. of the Miracles.
