An intriguing aspect of the Paracas Culture, is the voluntary deformation of the skulls, not knowing until the moment porqué of the frequent craneanas deformations in this culture.
One does not know if they comprised religious of a magical ritual or or perhaps an aesthetic detail.
The procedure for the deformation was placing pads with frame of wood rods, that ponian in the forehead and the later part of the head of new born, until the moment at which the deformation was irreversible.
