Descripcion:
Está ubicado en el inmueble donde se firmó la Capitulación de Ayacucho. Presenta una sala de exposición permanente con piezas representativas en la Batalla de Ayacucho: armas de fuego, armas blancas, arreos de caballería, insignias, entre otros objetos significativos.

Descripcion:
El museo presenta cuatro áreas expositivas, las cuales albergan material arqueológico de la Cultura Wari y otras culturas afines, impresos de la época Colonial y Republicana. Además, el museo cuenta con una sala de exposición (perteneciente al INC Ayacucho), donde se exhiben piezas representativas del arte popular ayacuchano: objetos de loza, cerámica, ornamentos, objetos en piedra de huamanga, imaginería, muebles, fotografías y dibujos.

Descripcion:
El Museo Arqueológico exhibe material arqueológico correspondiente a las excavaciones científicas realizadas por la Misión Francesa y Japonesa, y por los Proyectos de Jequetepeque-Saña en territorio cajamarquino. El Museo Etnográfico expone piezas etnográficas, tales como: indumentaria, instrumentos musicales y objetos de uso diario que recrean las actividades y costumbres de la vida cotidiana del habitante cajamarquino. El Museo Médico cuenta con una exposición de material quirúrgico empleado a inicios del Siglo XX, además de ilustraciones, fotos y maniquíes.

La Sala de Exposición Kotosh, se encuentra en las cercanías del sitio arqueológico a 5 km. de la ciudad de Huánuco.La muestra consiste en la exposición de réplicas de cerámica halladas gracias a las excavaciones científicas en Kotosh y paneles con fotografías de los trabajos arqueológicos en la zona.

Descripcion:
La colección arqueológica que alberga el museo es mixta, consta de material cerámico, tejidos, material orgánico, metales y restos humanos, procedentes de la región. También se exhiben objetos históricos (muebles, imaginería, lienzos, armas, vajilla), que corresponden a la Colonia y la República, además de material paleontológico. En la sala principal se observan dioramas y material fotográfico de los yacimientos arqueológicos a fin de complementar la información de las culturas que ocuparon el área Regional.

Descripcion:
El Santuario Wanka fue ocupado entre los años 800 a 1200 d. C. El museo cuenta con cuatro salas de exposición, con colecciones procedentes de las excavaciones arqueológicas del sitio de Wari Willka y de Coto Coto en 1964 a 1965.

Fue inaugurado en 1990, donación de la de la Fundación Emilio Odebrecht de Brasil. La secuencia museográfica de sus salas de exposición muestran desde el desarrollo histórico del área: desde el Periodo Inicial hasta el Horizonte Tardío (Chimú - Inca). Así tenemos: "Los Orígenes de la Sociedad Chimú", "Proceso Histórico del valle de Moche", "Período Intermedio Tardío", "Auge de Chan Chan", "Tipos arquitectónicos (Palacio Velarde, Palacio Laberinto, Vivienda Popular, Audiencia en U, Palacio Tschudi, otros)", "La Metalurgía, Pesca y Navegación", "La Alfarería", "La Textilería (proceso de confección)", "La Agricultura" y "La Tecnología Constructiva (decoración, estructura administrativa, vivenda popular, material de construcción, arquitectura intermedia)". Cada una de éstas salas están compuestas por la exposición de objetos, material gráfico, dioramas, maquetas, textos, réplicas u otro tipo de soportes museográficos a fin de complementar la exposición.

Las colecciones que alberga el Museo, son producto de las excavaciones del Proyecto Arqueológico Túcume realizado durante los años 1989 - 1994 (cerámica, material orgánico, óseo, entre otros). Además podemos encontrar una rica colección de objetos etnográficos. Este Museo propone a sus visitantes el contacto directo con artesanos de la zona y el proceso de producción artesanal. El recorrido incluye una visita al sitio arqueológico de Túcume.

Descripcion:
La exposición museográfica corresponde a trabajos de recuperación y de investigación arqueológica recuperado en el marco de la ejecución del Proyecto Arqueológico "Huaca Rajada Sipán" desde 1987 a la fecha, como: el hallazgo de los restos del "Señor de Sipán" con su contexto funerario de ornamentos, tocados, emblemas, atuendos de oro, plata, piedras semipreciosas, cerámicas y cortejo funerario; la tumba más antigua del "Viejo Señor de Sipán" con ornamentos y símbolos de rango; y otras tumbas de élite como la del Sacerdote, mítico hombre-ave y otros entierros de jefes militares. Gracias a los trabajos de restauración, se ha devuelto el esplendor original a este legado lambayecano, que hoy podemos observar a través de la esplendorosa exposición.

Descripcion:
El museo presenta una colección consistente en objetos de metal (oro y tumbago) - cuyo hallazgo corresponde al Proyecto Arqueológico de los años 1991, 1992 y 1995 , en el "Santuario Arqueológico Bosque de Pomac". Incluye también material orgánico y cerámica. La exposición permanente se centra en el pueblo Sicán y su cultura. Se observa la recreación de las tumbas de los nobles jefes Sicán, dioramas de la vida doméstica, el proceso de la cerámica, metales, la mayor parte de los objetos se muestran en su contexto.

Descripcion:
Exhibición de piezas procedentes de las excavaciones hechas en el sitio y en el centro arqueológico de Cajamarquilla. La mayoría pertenece a la Cultura Lima e Inca local, aunque también exponen objetos de la Cultura Cajamarca y Tiahuanaco (cántaros, botellas, figurinas antropomorfas, vasijas miniaturas). El Museo posee una rica colección textil: unkus, taparrabos, chuspas, alforjas entre otros.

Descripcion:
El museo se encuentra ubicado junto a la Huaca Huallamarca; además , su exposición se basa en la exhibición de materiales culturales procedentes del sitio (extraídos por excavación y limpieza del monumento), así como por material arqueológico de las culturas Lima y Pachacámac y otras más tardías: ceramios, tejidos, mates pirograbados y fardos funerarios. Cuenta como mayor atractivo la exhibición de una momia femenina de cabellos largos (2 mt).

Descripcion:
El santuario Arqueológico de Pachacamac, tuvo gran importancia desde su ocupación temprana hacia el 200 a.C., hasta la llegada de los españoles en 1533, pero es más conocido por haber sido el Santuario Inca más importante de la Costa Central. El circuito de visita es como sigue: Museo de sitio - actualmente cerrado - (cerámica, esculturas de madera "Pachacamac", textiles, husos, piruros pintados y utensilios domésticos producto de los trabajos de excavación y trabajos de recuperación arqueológica), visita al Templo de Adobitos, Pirámide con Rampa Nº 1,2 y 3, Palacio de Tauri Chumpi, Cementerio Max Uhle, Templo de Pachacamac, Plaza de los Peregrinos, Templo Viejo, Templo del Sol y Acllahuasi o Mamacuna.

Descripcion:
En el siglo XVI el Cerro San Cristóbal, fue punto de resistencia y concentración de los incas, durante la invasión española. Las huestes de Francisco Pizarro en 1536, lo denominaron San Cristóbal, en señal de expansión de la catequización. La exposición consiste en fotografías de la Lima de antaño, de San Cristóbal, vista panóramica de Lima y maníquies con trajes típicos. Durante la Fiesta de la Cruz se acostumbra realizar una peregrinación hacia la cúspide el primer domingo de mayo.

Descripcion:
La colección es el resultado de la donación de la colonia Italiana con motivo del Centenario de la Independencia (1923). Los objetos que alberga el museo son: grabados, esculturas de bronce y mármol y cerámica, obra de artistas italianos de fines de siglo XX artistas de la talla de Mancini, Malerba, Passaglia, Pomi, Cononica entre otros. Cuenta con una magnífica pinacoteca.

El sitio arqueológico cuenta una sala de exposición, donde se exhiben objetos recuperados durante los trabajos de excavación arqueológica de las temporadas 1998-1999 con el título de ""Pucllana, nuevas evidencias"", pertenecientes a la Cultura Lima. Existe material de apoyo para ubicar temporal y geográficamente el monumento, conocer sus manifestaciones culturales (cerámica, textiles, madera y piedra, recursos vegetales), así como las actividades económicas y costumbres funerarias de sus habitantes y su relación con poblaciones cercanas.

El museo cuenta con una variada muestra de objetos de naturaleza arqueológica, antropológica, histórica, de arte religioso, arte popular y de ciencia y tecnología. La exhibición arqueológica comprende: el panorama de la evolución cultural prehispánica (cerámica, textiles, orfebrería, material orgánico, osamentas), así como maquetas y dioramas de la vida del antiguo peruano. Además cuenta con salas de exposición etnográfica (retablos, tallas en piedra de huamanga, mates, imaginería entre otros) y salas de exposiciones temporales dedicadas al arte contemporáneo, dibujo y de concursos varios.

Descripcion:
Alberga la más completa y rica colección del proceso arqueológico e histórico peruano, incluyendo la colección más numerosa de ceramios del Antiguo Perú con temas de vivencias cotidianas como la música, religión, agricultura, guerra, sexualidad y otros. La exhibición arqueológica comprende las secuencias: Periodo Inicial, Formativo (destacan la Estela de Raimondi y el Obelisco Tello); Sala Pukara, Sala Paracas, Sala Moche/Lima, Sala Tecnología Metalúrgica, Sala Wari, Sala Chancay/Chimú, la renovada Sala Tawantinsuyo, Sala Amazónica. Los corredores son utilizados para exponer otros desarrollos culturales, así como tecnología prehispánica. En la sección de la Colonia destaca la síntesis de los temas más relevantes sobre sociedad, economía y cultura virreinales, además de la colección de lienzos de la Escuela Cusqueña. En la Renovada Sala República se hallan obras de Daniel Hernádez, Francisco Laso, Carlos Baca Flor, José Sabogal, Camino Brent, Julia Codesido entre otros. Finalmente, se puede visitar la Quinta de los Libertadores, lugar donde habitaron Don José de San Martín y Don Simón Bolívar.

Descripcion:
El fondo museográfico contiene manifestaciones artísticas de todas las regiones del Perú: cerámica, imaginería, textiles, talabartería, cestería, mates burilados, retablos, piedra de huamanga y hojalatería. Asimismo podemos encontrar ornamentos, utensilios y objetos de carácter mágico-religioso, una interesante colección de material cerámico, textil, orgánico (semillas, paja, mate, plumas, huesos, córteza de árbol) de tribus y grupos étnicos amazónicos y una colección de pinturas del Instituto de Arte Peruano Colonial y Repúblicano.

Se inicia la visita con un recorrido al monumento arqueológico. Continúa con la exposición museográfica: contexto geográfico, contexto histórico, evidencia cultural Tallán, tipos de ofrendas en el sitio, la Gran Plaza Ceremonial Tallán, expresiones materiales de otras culturas y finalmente objetos artesanales que produce la región. Cuenta como fondo museográfico, los objetos hallados en el complejo arqueológico, además de piezas artesanales elaborados en la zona.

Este museo se encuentra ubicado en el Parque Natural de Pucallpa y conserva algunas especies representativas de la flora local y una gran colección de restos fósiles hallados en los ríos Ucayali, Pachitea, Aguaitía y Urubamba (una de las mayores atracciones es la mandíbula de un megaterio que habitó la Amazonía hace unos 10 millones de años).
