THE FAIRS
The dominical fair of Huancayo, is quizas the great fair but of all the fairs that occur in this department.
The fairs in the Valley of the Mantaro are important because they promote the commerce between the towns, but at the same time, huanca is the exact expression of idiosincracia of the man: retailer, cheers and entrepreneur.
The fairs occur all the days of the week, for example; Monday in San Agustin de Cajas and Huayucachi; Tuesday in Viques, Pucara and Hualgas; miercoles in San Jeronimo de Tunan and Jauja; Thursday in Orcotuna, Sicaya and Sapallanga; Friday in Ahuac, Aco and Low Chongos; the sabado one in Chupaca, Frame, Matahuasi and Muquiyauyo; Sundays in Huancayo, Conception, Jauja, Mito and Huaco. These are single some of the fairs.
